ABOUT ME
I am a graduate of the University of East Anglia where I studied music in a department with a world class reputation for innovation in music technology and experimental and conventional composition techniques. I also studied English and American film and literature. I was actively involved in the production of a number of short films whilst studying at UEA and this has given me a good insight into many areas of film production.
I have also gained qualifications from the University of Bedfordshire where I studied composition and production. The production qualifications I have gained mean I can record and produce my compositions to a professional standard. I am Logic Studio 8 Pro Certified and am experienced in using Soundtrack Pro and a number of other software applications.
I have worked on a wide range or films, documentaries, animations and dance projects. Some of my work is available on this site and I am always happy to compose demo scenes to give clients a better idea of how I work.
Over the years I have been involved in a very wide range of musical projects which has helped me become a truly versatile composer. In my late teens I performed in award winning orchestras and choirs and have performed and written for punk, indie, electronica and nu-folk bands. My most recent band is a nu-folk/indie band who have performed at a variety of festivals and some of London’s top music venues.
I really enjoy all styles of music and I am very open minded in terms of the projects I would like to work on. I would love to hear from anyone who has an interesting project that needs composition, sound design or production work. I have been developing my studio for a number of years and can easily accommodate ambitious recording and composition projects. I am based 30 minutes away from London but I am used to working with people over large distances and have the technology available to make this a hassle free and rewarding experience.

For the last two years I have been working part time as a youth worker and have been delivering a music technology and composition program to young people who have been excluded from school or who have a history of offending. This has been a rewarding experience and has exposed me to interesting musical ideas and ways of working with people.
